It takes all of my strength to write these few words of thanks. Thanks for your messages and prayers. I feel them and know that I am one of the luckiest people alive.

Just a short note to update that I am home from almost 3 weeks in the hospital. Five radiation treatments, therapy, and enough drugs to stop an army, I feel like tennis shoes bouncing around in a clothes dryer. My biologic therapy is working, I am told. I am happy, alive, and looking forward to getting back to QSO Today.

Today I finished a week of chemotherapy. I am weak, somewhat confused and what to go to sleep. Friends call but I am sick today to talk. I know they care but I don’t have the strength. Thanks for your update Eric. 73 Jim

As I read this, I just hung up the phone. My only brother-in-law, my late wife's brother called to tell me he has late stage colon cancer and is learning to deal with a colostomy. He has completed two days of chemotherapy, off for the weekend, back on Monday for an indeterminate course of treatment. Eric: Cancer SUCKS! I just hope that both of you receive the best damn care that can be afforded. Good luck. 73

So many friends, around the world are praying for you. We share your battle and would give back some of what you have given to us all. You build every week a magic mirror where you show the best of the HAM community and we can recognize excellence in human and technical virtues. Looking forward for appreciating new QSOs very soon. Best wishes Eric!

Eric, so glad to hear you are back at home. Shoes bouncing around in a dryer beats the alternative in every case. Your positive spirit is your inner strength and is taking care of you. I hope the rest of your recovery goes as you wish it will. vy 73...Vince
