Episode 332 - Wayne Yoshida - KH6WZ

Picture
Wayne Yoshida, KH6WZ, has been an active ham since the 1970s, growing up in Los Angeles.  Wayne is a home brewer, especially microwave equipment on 10 GHz, and has taken our amateur radio hobby to the Maker Faire in the Bay Area for live demonstrations. As a technical writer and Contributing Editor to CQ Magazine, Wayne is in one of the best places to experience just about everything in ham radio.

Thank you Eric for having me on your show, I enjoyed it and am looking forward to hearing more stories from other hams out there. BTW, the Trans Oceanic receiver I had was the T600 - a rig older than me!

Eric,
Great job having Wayne on the show. There is no doubt that had it not been for the exposure to ham radio as a early teen and encouragement from my parents, the professional career I have had would not have been the same. I always celebrate the hobby. Wayne is a visionary.

Bob -
Thank you for your nice comments. I think many of us hams have multiple things in common.

Isn't it great to learn about how similar, rather than different we are - no matter what our callsign prefixes are?
