Ward Silver, N0AX, is the author of the QST magazine column, “Hands-On Radio”, editor of ARRL Handbook for Radio Communications, and author of many books on amateur radio, including the ARRL License Manuals, The ARRL Antenna Book, and Ham Radio for Dummies. Ward is the consummate ham radio "Elmer" and uses his many books and articles to teach all facets of ham radio to all of us. In the podcast, Ward describes his ham radio beginnings and his amateur radio journey. He also offers practical advice to new and returning hams.
